Joshua Tree Writing Retreat

Come join me for a writing workshop intensive in the beautiful high desert near the Joshua Tree National Park. The workshop will take place over the weekend of JUNE 3–4 (Saturday & Sunday). In addition to the 2-day workshop where you will get to share an excerpt of your writing and get feedback from your instructor and the group, the workshop will also feature a special guest chef and cooking demo/dinner, paired with a mixology lesson & cocktail hour on Saturday evening.
For the workshop, we will meet at my “boho” desert casita in Yucca Valley (right on the edge of Joshua Tree … the park entrance is 10 minutes away).

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Workshop attendees will be responsible for securing their own housing for the weekend, so it can be tailored to their needs and budget level and make it accessible to all. Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley features Air BNBs at many price points, funky historic motels, and nearby resorts. You will be provided with a list of recommendations and the address for the workshop to aid in your search.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Jennifer Brody / Vera Strange is the award-winning author of 15+ books, including the “Disney Chills” series, “The 13th Continuum” trilogy, and the Stoker Finalist “Spectre Deep 6,” prompting Forbes to call Brody “a star in the graphic novel world.” She is the co-author of “Star Wars: Stories of Jedi & Sith,” where she penned the Darth Vader story. She’s a graduate of Harvard University, a film/TV producer and writer, and a creative writing instructor with over 10 years of experience. She began her career in Hollywood working for A-List directors and movie studios.
